Ecology

This textile whitening agent does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

Leomine Whitener TCI has a shelf life of atleast one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened. Do not expose to direct sunlight.

Stability

This textile whitening agent has tendency to settle on prolonged storage but can be easily re-dispersed by stirring.

Recommended application recipes

PES / CO 65/35 Exhaust Process:

  • 0.5 – 1.5% Leomine Whitener TCI
  • 0.5 – 1 g/1 Leomine Disperse XPD
  • pH 5 – 6 Leomine Buffer PAB
  • Liquor ratio 5:1 to 20:1
  • Initial temperature : 50-60 ºC
  • Heat up to 130 ºC in 30 min
  • 15-20 min at 130 ºC
  • Dry

The addition of Leomine Disperse XPD is particularly necessary in the fluorescent brightening of wound packages.

PES / CO 65/35 One step bleaching and brightening Exhaust Process :

  • 0.5 – 1.5% Leomine Whitener TCI
  • 4 ml/l Hydrogen Peroxide 50%
  • 1 gpl Caustic Soda
  • 1 gpl Leomine Wash Jet DBJ
  • 1 gpl Leomine Stabilizer PSL
  • Liquor ratio 5:1 to 20:1
  • 60 minutes at 98 ºC
  • Rinse and dry
