Textile Pretreatment Agent – Leomine Wash WSL

Textile Pretreatment Agent – Strong APEO free Wetting agent and detergent with excellent emulsifying action. It removes oils, fats and wax impurities and significantly improves absorbency of the textile material during the pre-treatment process.

Chemical Nature : Mixture of Nonionic and Anionic Surfactants.

Ecology

This textile pretreatment agent is readily biodegradable. According to our experience Leomine wash WSL does not exert any
harmful effects on health provided it is used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

Leomine Wash WSL has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5
ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Store rooms should not be over-heated. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

Leomine Wash WSL is resistant to acids, alkalis and electrolytes at the concentrations at which they are usually employed in pre-treatment processes.

Compatibility

Leomine Wash WSL is compatible with anionic and non-ionic auxiliaries. Precipitation may occur if applied at the same time with cationic products.

Application

Leomine Wash WSL can be used in a variety of applications at all stages of pre-treatment process for Polyester, Cotton, Viscose, Wool and their blends.

Stain removal

• 5 – 10% solution of Leomine Wash WSL can be used to remove stains effectively

Scouring

• 1 – 2 g/l Leomine Wash WSL
• 1- 2 g/l NaOH 100%
• Temperature : 70 – 95ºC

Scouring of textiles Contaminated with oil and Scouring of Synthetic materials

• 10 – 15 g/l Leomine Wash WSL
• 1 – 2 g/l soda ash
• Impregnation temperature : 70ºC
• Reaction time : approx. 1 hour
• Wash off at 70 – 95ºC

Enzymatic Desizing

• 1 – 3 g / l Leomine Desize HPE
• 2 – 3 g / l Leomine Wash WSL
• 1 – 2 g/ l Leomine Extract SDE
• Impregnation temperature: 70ºC.
• Liquor pick-up: approx. 100%
• Required pH : 5.5
• Reaction time: 6 to 8 hours

Removal of water soluble sizes

• 2- 4 g/l Leomine Wash WSL
• 0.5 – 2 g/l soda ash
• Impregnation temperature: 70ºC.
• Reaction time: 30-60 min
• Wash off at 80 – 95ºC.

Bleaching with Hydrogen peroxide

• 20-50 ml/l H2O2 (50%)
• 4 – 6 g/l NaOH 100%
• 5 – 7 g/l Leomine Stabilizer PSL
• 1 – 2 g/l Leomine Wash WSL
• Impregnation temperature: 20 – 40ºC
• Liquor pick-up: approx. 100% for Co.
• Liquor pick-up: approx. 70% for PES/Co.
• Steaming time: 5-20 min (e.g. combination steamer, J-box)

Bleaching with H2O2 long liquor

• 2-3 gpl H2O2 (50%)
• 2-3 gpl NaOH 100%
• 0.5 gpl Leomine Stabilizer PSL
• 1-2 gpl Leomine Wash WSL
• MLR 1:6 to 1:8
