Textile Pretreatment Agent – Leomine Extract SDE

A Textile Pretreatment Agent – Extracting agent, dispersant with stabilizing and anticatalytic effect in peroxide bleach to promote higher degree of whiteness and improve absorbency.

Chemical Nature : Mixture of Dispersing and Complexing ingredients; Anionic.

• It is suitable for Peroxide cold bleach, Peroxide hot bleach, Exhaust process, continuous process and alkaline boil-off.

Ecology

According to our experience Leomine Extract SDE does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

This Textile Pretreatment agent has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

Application

The amount of this textile pretreatment agent is that needs to be applied depends on the degree of pre-cleansing, water hardness and catalytic content of cotton.

Peroxide cold bleach – Silicate-free bleach(on cotton fabrics, grey goods):

• 50 ml/l Hydrogen peroxide 35%
• 25 g/l NaOH 100%
• 8 ml/l Leomine Stabilizer PSD
• 2 ml/l Leomine Extract SDE
• 5 ml/l Leomine Wash DFB
• Impregnating temperature Room temp. (max. 40 °C)
• Liquor pick-up 100%
• Reaction time 24 h

Peroxide cold bleach – Silicate-containing bleach (on cotton fabrics, grey goods):

• 50 ml/l Hydrogen peroxide 35%
• 20 g/l NaOH 100%
• 10 ml/l Sodium Silicate 38 °Bé
• 4 ml/l Leomine Stabilizer PSD
• 2 ml/l Leomine Extract SDE
• 6 ml/l Leomine Wash DFB
• Impregnating temperature Room temp (max. 40 °C)
• Liquor pick-up 100%
• Reaction time 24 h

Peroxide hot bleach in combination steamer (boiled-off cotton fabrics):

• 30 ml/l Hydrogen peroxide 35%
• 6 g/l NaOH 100%
• 5 ml/l Leomine Stabilizer PSD
• 2 ml/l Leomine Extract SDE
• 2 ml/l Leomine Wash DFB
• Impregnating temperature Room temp. (max. 40 °C)
• Liquor pick-up 100%
• Reaction temperature 100 °C
• Steaming time 15 – 20 min

Leomine Bright Bleach System Peroxide bleach in combination steamer with “high add-on” applicator (cotton fabrics, desized with Leomine Extract CSE system):

• 40 ml/kg Hydrogen peroxide 35%
• 16 g/kg NaOH 100%
• 5 ml/kg Leomine Stabilizer PSD
• 2 ml/kg Leomine Extract SDE

Continuous bleach (Cotton knitgoods):

• Bleaching temperature 70 – 85 °C

Peroxide bleach in long liquor (Cotton knitgoods in the jet):

• 7 ml/l Hydrogen peroxide 35%
• 1.5 g/l NaOH 100%
• 1 ml/l Leomine Stabilizer PSL (only when the process water is soft)
• 1 ml/l Leomine Extract SDE
• 0.5 ml/l Leomine Wash Jet DBJ
• Liquor ratio 1 : 10
• Bleaching temperature 98 –100 °C
• Bleaching time 45 min

Peroxide bleach in long liquor (Cotton yarn in circulating – liquor machines):

• 7 ml/l Hydrogen peroxide 35%
• 1.5 g/l NaOH 100%
• 1 ml/l Leomine Stabilizer PSL (only when the process water is soft)
• 1 ml/l Leomine Extract SDE
• 1 ml/l Leomine Wash DFB
• Liquor ratio 1 : 10
• Bleaching temperature 98 –100 °C
• Bleaching time 45 min

Alkaline boil-off in long liquor (Cotton yarn):

• 4 g/l NaOH 100%
• 2 ml/l Leomine Extract SDE

• Treating time 30 min
