Chemical Nature : Aqueous dispersion of a quaternary ammonium compound, Cationic.

Ecology

According to our experience Leomine Softener LYF does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

Leomine Softener LYF has a shelf life of atleast one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

This textile finishing softener is stable to hard water, acids and alkali.

Compatibility

This textile finishing softener is compatible with Cationic, amphoteric and non-ionic finishing auxiliaries.

Application

The following guideline recipes are recommended in acidic conditions (4 to 6.5 pH)

For exhaust application

• 1 – 4 % Leomine Softener LYF

For padding application

• 10 – 40 g/l Leomine Softener LYF
• 60 to 90% liquor pick-up
• Addition of 0.5 to 1 g/l of wetting agent Leomine Wash Jet DBJ and 0.5 to 1 g/l acetic acid 60% is recommended in all padding recipes.
• pH should be maintained at 4.5 to 5.5
• Treatment should be done at room temperature.
