Textile Sizing Agent – Leomine Size FCO Liq.

Textile Sizing Agent – Water soluble acrylic size for warp yarns composed of cotton and its blends. It is also suitable for denim wraps.

Chemical Nature : Polyacrylate in water

• Good dispersing property. Gets readily washed out during de-sizing with small amounts of alkali and detergent, if used alone.

Ecology

According to our experience Leomine Size FCO Liq. does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO. It is 95% bio-eliminable.

Storage

Leomine Size FCO Liq. has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

Leomine Size FCO Liq. – a textile sizing agent is stable to hard water and temperatures usually employed during the sizing process.

Compatibility

Leomine Size FCO Liq. is compatible with most chemicals used in sizing process. Precipitates under acidic conditions or when used with cationic substances. Not compatible with Size FCA.

Application

Leomine Size FCO Liq. can be used directly or in combination with starch, PVA & CMC

• Ratio of Leomine Size FCO Liq. – textile sizing agent when used with starch: Maybe varied from 2 : 1 to 1 : 4
• Leomine Size FCO Liq. when used alone: upto 9% size add-on depending upon yarn count
