Textile Fixing Agent – Formaldehyde free fixing agent for improving the wet fastness of reactive and direct dyeing and prints on
cellulosic fibers.

Chemical Nature : Aqueous solution of poly-quaternary compounds, Formaldehyde free.

• Leomine Fast Fix FFF is readily taken up by the textile material; uptake increases with increase in temperature. Optimum temperature is around 40ºC.
• Improves wet fastness properties of reactive dyeings and prints.
• Improves storage stability of reactive dyeings which usually undergo hydrolysis under humid conditions adversely affecting wet fastness properties.
• Combines with reactive dye hydrolysates and thereby improves fastness.
• Does not significantly affect the shade of reactive dyeings.
• Does not affect fabric handle.
• Can be used with Cationic and Non-ionic finishing agents in the same bath.

Ecology

According to our experience this textile fixing agent does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

This textile fixing agent has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

Leomine Fast Fix FFF is stable under normal textile wet processing conditions.

Compatibility

This textile fixing agent is compatible with cationic and non-ionic auxiliaries. Precipitation will occur when mixed with anionic auxiliaries.

Application

Exhaust process 

Reactive Dyes

• 1 – 2% Leomine Fast Fix FFF for medium shades
• 2 – 3% Leomine Fast Fix FFF for very dark shades
• Liquor ratio 5:1 to 20:1
• Treated for 20 minutes at 40 °C,
• pH = 6-6.5
• Rinse in cold water and dry.

Direct Dyes

• 1 – 3% Leomine Fast Fix FFF

Padding process 

Reactive Dyes

• 5 – 15 g/l Leomine Fast Fix FFF for medium shades
• 15 – 30 g/l Leomine Fast Fix FFF for very dark shades
• Liquor pickup – 70%
• pH = 5.0-5.5 ; adjust with Acetic acid
• Dry at 100 to 120ºC
