Textile pretreatment wetting agent – Leomine Wash DFB

Textile Pretreatment Wetting Agent – Low foaming powerful wetting agent and detergent with an emulsifying and extractive action, used in pretreatment processes to remove impurities present in cotton. Suitable for Cotton-Elastane blends.

Chemical Nature : Mixture of non-ionic surfactants and polyacrylates

Ecology

According to our experience Leomine Wash DFB does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

Leomine Wash DFB has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

Leomine Wash DFB is stable to hard water and alkalis.

Application

Washing:

• 1 – 3 ml/l Leomine Wash DFB
• 0,25 – 2 g/l Soda
• Temperature: 70 – 95 °C

Enzymatic desizing

• 1-2 g/l Leomine Desize DHP
• 2 – 3 g/l Common salt
• 2 – 5 ml/l Leomine Wash DFB
• 1 ml/l Leomine Wet RDM
• (pH-value 6 – 7)

Impregnation temperature: 60 – 70 °C

Liquor pick up: approx. 100 % for CO

approx. 70 % for PES/CO

Dwell time: approx. 4 – 5 hours

Boiling-off

• 30 – 50 g/l NaOH 100 %
• 3 – 5 ml/l Leomine Wash DFB

Impregnation temperature: 20 – 40 °C

Steaming temperature: approx. 100 °C

• 3 g/l Persulfate

Reaction time: 16 – 24 hours

Intensive Scouring

• 2g/kg Leomine Extract MSD
• 1 – 2 g/kg Leomine Wash DFB

Temperature: 85 – 95 °C

Note: The bath needs to be replenished when it is standing. It can be replenished by adding Leomine Extract SDE at 20 g/l and Leomine Wash DFB at 20 ml/l (10-fold concentration) with no stability problems. We would not recommend replenishing it at higher concentrations.
