Textile Pretreatment Agent – Enzymatic bleach cleanup auxiliary for removal of residual hydrogen peroxide from fabric and process liquor prior to the dyeing step.

Chemical Nature : Catalase enzyme preparation

Features

  • Dark brown liquid with low viscosity; pumpable
  • Catalyzes hydrogen peroxide into non-active Oxygen and water
  • There is no formation of Sulphate or Nitrogen salts
  • Soluble in water in all proportions
  • Low foaming
  • Non-hazardous
  • Stable on storage.
  • Suitable for Jets, winches, jiggers, becks and yarn dyeing equipment

Benefits

  • Works in a broad range of pH and temperatures
  • Effectively works at low to high residual peroxide level
  • Effectively removes residual peroxide in a eco-friendly manner
  • Dyeing can be carried out after Leomine Antiperox CPK Conc. addition in the same bath
  • Helps prevent tonal variation and uneven dyeing in subsequent dyeing process as it completely removes residual peroxide
  • Has no effect on dyestuffs, substrate or the dyeing process
  • Enables reduction in number of rinsing between bleaching and dyeing processes
  • Increases productivity due to short processing time and savings in utilities

Ecology

According to our experience this textile pretreatment agent does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

This textile pretreatment agent has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 25ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Properties

Appearance: Dark Brown Liquid

Solubility: Miscible with water in all proportions

pH: 5 – 6

Density: 1.17 g/cm³

Stability

Leomine Antiperox CPK Conc. is stable when stored under cool conditions at 25°C

Compatibility

Leomine Antiperox CPK Conc. is compatible with Non-Ionic textile auxiliaries and textile dyestuffs.

Application

Leomine Antiperox CPK Conc. works best in the pH range 3 to 9 at temperatures between 30° to 90° C. Application time is between 10 to 20 minutes.

The amount of Leomine Antiperox CPK Conc. that needs to be applied depends on the concentration of the residual peroxide after bleaching.

  • Guideline dosage : 0.1 – 0.4 g/l
  • Guideline process : Drain the bleach liquor ===>Hot wash @ 70° C for 10 minutes ===> drain and fill ===>Neutralize the bath and substrate to pH 5.5 to 6 using Leomine Buffer PAB for 5 minutes ===> add 0.2 gpl of Leomine Antiperox CPK Conc. and run for 15 minutes ===>Check pH and presence of residual peroxide using respective indicators ===> Start dyeing in the same bath.

Safety

When using this textile pretreatment agent, the information and advice given in our Safety Data Sheet should be observed. Due attention should also be given to the precautions necessary for handling chemicals.
