Ecology

According to our experience Leomine Resin ECO does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

Leomine Resin ECO has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

This textile finishing agent is stable to conditions at which they are usually employed in finishing processes of Cellulosic and its blends with synthetics.

Compatibility

Leomine Resin ECO is compatible with anionic and cationic auxiliaries.

Amounts used

  • CO : 30 – 110g/L Leomine Resin ECO
  • CV : 60 – 155g/L Leomine Resin ECO
  • PES/CO : 20 – 60g/L Leomine Resin ECO
  • PES/CV : 55 – 110g/L Leomine Resin ECO

This textile finishing agent is particularly suitable for this application.

Catalysts

  • 25% of Leomine Catalyst RFM, calculated on the amount of crosslinker, but atleast 13g/L.
  • A concentration of over 30g/L should not be used.

Guideline recipes

Shirting fabric (woven cotton cloth)

  • 40-80g/L Leomine Resin ECO
  • 13-20g/L Leomine Catalyst RFM
  • 10-20g/L Leomine Additive SPE
  • 10-30g/L Leomine Softener HDS
  • Liquor pick-up approx.70%
  • Dry as usual
  • Cure approx.3 min at 150°C

Blouse material (woven viscose)

  • 60-90g/L Leomine Resin ECO
  • 15-23g/L Leomine Catalyst RFM
  • 20-30g/L Leomine Softener MES
  • Liquor pick-up approx.80%
  • Dry as usual
  • Cure approx.1 min at 170-175°C.

Outerwear knitgoods (cotton)

  • 30-50g/L Leomine Resin ECO
  • 13 g/L Leomine Catalyst RFM
  • 20-30g/L Leomine Additive SPE
  • 10-20g/L Leomine Softener HDS
  • Liquor pick-up approx.70%
  • Dry as usual
  • Cure approx. 30s at 170°C

Bottom Weights (woven cotton cloth, finished by the post-cure process)

  • 35-90g/L Leomine Resin ECO
  • 13-23g/L Leomine Catalyst RFM
  • 20-30g/L Leomine Additive SPE
  • 20-30g/L Leomine Softener MES
  • Liquor pick-up approx.70%
  • Dry as usual
  • Residual moisture content: approx. 10%
  • For ready-made clothing: cut, sew, steam for about 10s, press for 20s at about 160°C, and remove steam by suction.
  • Cure 3-10 min at 150°C, depending on the type of equipment.
