Textile Acid Buffer – Acid buffer for use in dyeing and printing process.

Chemical Nature : Mixture of Organic acids.

Features

  • Clear, colorless to slightly yellowish liquid, miscible with water in all proportions
  • Non-hazardous with low toxicity
  • Non-foaming
  • No odor
  • Exhibits low volatility
  • Has high boiling point
  • Stable on storage

Benefits

  • Provides pH regulating effect. Maintains stable pH over wide range of temperatures
  • Maintains even pH across fabric width during heat setting of polyester and polyamide
  • Consistent acidic pH throughout the process results in fault-free dyeing and printing
  • Very effective core alkali neutralizer
  • Due to its unique chemistry, it does not dull the shade or affect whiteness of fabric
  • It encapsulates iron metal minimizing batch to batch shade deviation
  • Can be directly added to the dye bath
  • Suitable for dyeing, printing and finishing processes
  • Stable in hard water conditions
  • Suitable for Polyester, Polyamide, cotton and their blends
  • Does not damage / burn viscose component in blends
  • Can be used to dissolve and paste basic dyes
  • Can be used as a neutralizer for reactive dyeings after soaping and rinsing

Ecology

According to our experience this textile acid buffer does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO. Has lower COD values when compared to mineral acids.

Storage

This textile acid buffer has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.
