Ecology

According to our experience this textile finishing softener does not exert any harmful effects on health provided they are used as per our recommendation. Does not contain APEO / NPEO.

Storage

This textile finishing softener has a shelf life of at least one year if stored in its tightly sealed original packing at temperatures between 5ºC and 35ºC in a dry place. Drums should be tightly resealed each time the material is taken from them, and their contents should be used up as soon as possible after they have been opened.

Stability

Leomine Softener NIS is stable to hard water and acids. Always apply Leomine Softener NIS first before application of additional after-treatment agents to improve fastness.

Compatibility

This textile finishing softener is compatible with anionic, Cationic and non-ionic auxiliaries.

Application

The following guideline recipes are recommended in acidic conditions ( 4 to 6.5 pH).

For exhaust application

  • 1 – 3 % Leomine Softener NIS

For padding application

  • 10 – 40 g/l Leomine Softener NIS.
  • 60 to 90% liquor pick-up.
  • Addition of 0.5 to 1 g/l of wetting agent Leomine Wash Jet DBJ and 0.5 to 1 g/l acetic acid 60% is recommended in all padding recipes.

Safety

When using this textile finishing softener, the information and advice given in our Safety Data Sheet should be observed. Due attention should also be given to the precautions necessary for handling chemicals.
